The college is a National College of Arts and Sciences opened in the City of Chennai in Tamil Nadu, with affiliation to Avadi, a site in Chennai of Tamil Nadu. The college imparts undergraduate and postgraduate programs in various disciplines.

B.Sc. Programs: CNASC offers B.Sc. Programs in Computer Science, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Visual Communication, and Hotel and Catering Management. These are three-year undergraduate programs intended to give a good grounding for students in their respective fields.

B.Com Programs: B.Com and B.Com Corporate Secretaryship programs are both offered by CNASC. These programs have been specially designed for students who wish to build careers in commerce and corporate management.

BBA and BCA: BBA and BCA courses are offered to CNASC students interested in pursuing a degree in Business Management and Computer Applications respectively.

M.Com: This is a postgraduate program running at CNASC. The program aims at higher studies in commerce and employability enhancement of the students in the field.
