36 MonthsDiploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering is a three-year full-time course offered by the Directorate of Technical Education, Chennai, and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who have passed the qualifying examination in SSLC are eligible for admission to the first year. (or) Any Other qualification recognized as equivalent to SSLC (or) X Standard of Tamil Nadu High School by the Director of School Education, Secondary Board of Education of Tamil Nadu. No age limit for admission for all candidates. Admission will be done based on ranking from 500 marks and as per the QUOTA, except the management quota.
Lateral Entry
A pass in any one of the HSC Academic courses in the Higher Secondary course in Tamil Nadu or two years ITI with NCVT certificate is eligible for Diploma Lateral Entry Admission. The candidate should have studied the related subjects as indicated in the annexure for various courses.
