Hello Aspirant,

See on such marks and category you have good chances of getting Christian Medical College, Vellore according to previous year's cut-off. As we go through previous year's cut-off then it shows that last year the lowest cut-off marks was 465 for Christian Medical College, Vellore under state quota for General category and as you belongs to Christian minority  so there are higher chances for you to get seat in it.

You can check out previous year's cut-offs from the link given below :-

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of previous year's cut-off and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

Hello Aspirant,

Firstly congrats on scoring so well in NEET 2020. This year the cutoffs have increased and the competition has tightened . So the assumed possibilities based on the previous year cutoffs may slightly vary. But I am happy to say that you will sure get a seat in any one of the AIIMS institutions, through all India rank quota. In addition you have a great community rank too . Now coming to AIIMS Delhi ,you will not get a seat  because the overall rank to be secured for an SC category student is minimum 1130 according to the previous year trend and the community rank should be 15 , for the mark you have got your best option would be AIIMS Jodhpur, Bhubaneswar  and Rishikesh among the top ones.

Coming to CMC , majority of the seats like up to 80% ,are given to christian students so as it is the remaining seats are less in number and hence the competition will be higher , but you may give it a try .

CMC Vellore is a Christian Minority Private Medical College and Private Medical Colleges do not participate in All India Counselling and the seats are filled through State Counselling alone. And for appearing for State Counselling you need to hold the domicile of that particular State. Or else the only other option is through Management Quota. Now this is the same with CMC Vellore as well. It has 100 seat intake. 74 seats are for sponsored members of Associated churches. 10 seats are reserved for the wards of the CMC staff. Or the rest 16, 1 seat is reserved for a Candidate to be sponsored by Central Government of India. The rest 15 seats are filled through Open Merit. Out of these 3 seats are filled through SC/ST Categories. All these seats are filled through Tamilnadu State Counselling only. You can check the complete process at our page: https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/cmc-vellore-mbbs-counselling#CMC-Vellore-MBBS-2020-Counselling-Procedure . But to give you a brief, CMC has released its registration process in February/March earlier this year for admission to MBBS. And once NEET results have been announced, Candidates had to update their NEET scores. Those Candidates who have registered there and those who have received a call letter from CMC have to appear for Counselling at the reported date and time. Those shortlisted will have to submit their documents for document verification and join the allotted list.

Hello student

It is not true that there is compulsory two  year  service commitment for non Christian student. Some of the seats are reserved for missionary community it is true. But Hindu community may be sponsored by missionary hospitals organisation. For candidates after internship and for future PGstudy there is no compulsory service commitment of 2 years for non Christian community student. It has  a good and excellent  environment for UG state and Central PG studies for medical for MBBS for and PG studies of medical study.

Hope this helped.

Hello

Most of the institutes in India follow the system whereby 7.5% seats are reserved  for STs while 15% of the seats are reserved for SCs . Accordingly SC have 2 seats reserved in CMC Vellore while there is one seat for ST category. For more details you can refer to https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/cmc-vellore-mbbs-admission
