Hello Aspirant ,

From your question it seems like you already got AIIMS seat through AIQ and now you are aiming to attend the TN state counselling for CMC Vellore . As per the MCC AIQ counselling rules , since you have got a seat through All India Counselling and has completed the admission procedure , you would not longer be allowed to leave it and you are not eligible for further counselling. Also , you will have to submit the original documents while attending the counselling procedure because there will be a verification process , xerox copies will not be accepted. You are lucky to have got AIIMS so I think you should think very well before leaving it as it is a most reputed medical institution in India. Take a careful decision . You can once go through the counselling rules regarding AIQ through the official MCC website .

Hope this helps

Hello Aspirant .

Since you have not mentioned the exam in which you secured this rank I assume you are talking about NEET UG . When it comes to cutoffs , for government medical colleges through AIQ you need to have a rank below 10-15K but since your rank is almost nearby , you will have some decent options in AIQ. However, with your rank you can definitely  get top government seats in your state counselling. But if you are an outsider in a state counselling then , you will be offered only private college seats. And coming to private colleges , you can get get good private colleges with ranks till 30-40 based on the number of seats available. For many other regular private college it may even go till 1-2 lakhs .A rank of 18000 is very good for many decent colleges but as you have not mentioned the category it is difficult to say exactly because cutoff ranks vary with categories . For instance , for CMC Ludhiyana, if you are a UR candidate , then you will need a rank below 15K or a score above 580 so it will be difficult for you, but if you an OBC or SC candidate then it is 500+ and 380-400 respectively , so your rank would be fine to get in. Anyways you may use the below link to checkout the cutoff ranks category-wise for all the colleges you want and apply accordingly:

Hello aspirant

As compare both the colleges..
Christian medical college is a private college which was established in 1942...
And Aiims bhubneshwar is a established in 2012..
As per the ranking..
CMC has higher ranking than Aiims bhubneshwar..
And it has a higher mbbs cuttof through neet..
But in all parameters, CMs has more prestigious and best colleges for mbbs..

Hope this information will help you to solve your query

Hey! kalasubramani

it is surprising to hear from you that Ms. Ramaiah, Ramachandra medical college, CMC vellore  colleges are not in All india quota list. answering your question, these colleges do give seat based on all india quota. unlike govt colleges, which give all the seats on the basis of AIQ. but you have to apply through college application and not govt one. so contact the college for further info. these private colleges give some seats to AIQ and some for management seats. so, you can go through AIQ too.

i hope it answers you.
