Hello STudent

College of Engineering Guindy Chennai Tamil Nadu which is under Anna University which was established in the year of 1794 has UG and PG courses for admission. Admission in UG courses is done through Tamil Nadu engineering admission test TNEA. Marks you have got in physics, chemistry and mathematics in 12th so there is chance to get the ECE branch electronics and communication engineering is hopeful. But you have to qualify TNEA exam with valid score.

Hope this helps.

hi,

see admission to colleges of tamil nadu post graduate course like mba, m.tech is based on tancet counselling. the college is allotted based on gate score or tancet score. gate scorer has the priority and once gate rank wise counselling has completed , tancet score wise counselling begin. so it is quite difficult to predict college since it depends on the choice of streams, number of applicants for any particular trade, students category, seat matrix etc.

however since the college of guindy is demanding institute, your chances for securing seat is less at this percentile.

nevertheless apply for others colleges as well or again prepare for next year exam.

follow our article to know in details:

Hi Karthikeya!

The admission to Anna university is done by TNEA counselling only. The admission to UG programmes is purely based on the marks obtained in the Higher Secondary examinations (10+2 marks). The higher secondary marks are scaled to 200, based on which the merit list/ ranks are released. Counseling is conducted based upon the ranking.

So, you just need to apply for the ANNA University admissions 2021-22 and then a list will be released containing ranks of students according to the merit criteria. According to the ranks, candidates will be allotted seats. To know more, visit here:

hi,

see cutoff score fluctuate every year and it depends on certain factors like number of applicants, students category, choice of stream, difficulty level of papers as well. I assume you are m.tech aspirant, tancet has gate score based counselling process and  gate score holders of engineering / technology stream can directly participate in counselling process . so now its quite difficult to predict the exact college, but based on previous years score you have fair chances for anna university guindy campus.

best of luck for your future endeavor!

Yes, after studying Manufacturing Engineering at College of Engineering, Guindy you can apply for MTech in Aerospace Engineering from IISc Bangalore, perhaps you need to perform well in GATE Mechanical.
