college of engineering guindy is anna university affiliated colleges. but anna university is the main college. all the regulations and syllabus are passed by anna university, while anna university affiliated colleges (including CEG) follow anna university.

so they are completely different in both campus, location

generally it depends upon the college and even city for cutoffs and most important your category like last year in 2019 cutoff for general was 183 while for obc it was 624 in mumbai, so as you see it depends on number of students are giving and also area

You can expect the seat on ceg but I'm  not 100 percent sure that you might get into that college though you get into that college you may not be able to get the course of your interest you might be getting the course which you had not
