For General Category - The minimum percentage of marks required for admission for Hons. Courses are 45% aggregate and 40% for Vocational Courses in Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (Class XII) of the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi passing in four subjects (one language and three elective subjects) or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto.
For Reserved Category - (a) Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe - The minimum eligibility requirement for the scheduled caste / scheduled tribe candidates will be that they must have passed the qualifying school examination. Where the admission is based on screening /written test, the SC/ST candidates would also be required to take the test but their merit list will be drawn separately.
(b)Other Backward Classes - The OBC candidates shall be given a relaxation in the minimum eligibility in the qualifying examination and in the minimum eligibility(if any) in the admission entrance test to the extent of 10% of the minimum eligibility marks prescribed for the general category candidates. All those OBC candidates who meet the minimum eligibility marks in the qualifying examination and the minimum eligibility marks (if any) in the entrance test shall be eligible for admission in order of their merit, keeping in view the availability of seats reserved for them. The OBC candidates who belong to the ‘Non-Creamy Layer’ and whose castes appear in the Central List of the OBCs only shall be eligible to be considered for admission under the OBC category.
(c) Persons With Disabilities - As per the provisions of Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016, not less than five percent (5%) seats are reserved for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities, where “person with benchmark disability” means a person with not less than forty percent (40%) of a specified disability where specified disability has not been defined in measurable terms and includes a person with disability where specified disability has been defined in measurable terms, as certified by the certifying authority. It may be noted that the erstwhile Persons with Disability Act, 1995, under which reservation for Persons with Disabilities in admissions was provided earlier has now been repealed.
The infrastructure of the college is good. The ground is really big. The rooms are spacious and airy. 2 buildings have ample space to accommodate students. However it would be great if they open new block for more accomodation.
College infrastructure is good. However, certain improvements can make it so much better. The playground is very big with ample facilities. The buildings are also in good condition. Certain repairs are required.
The infrastructure of College is good. The classes are sufficiently big to accomodate many students. They are airy as well. However certain improvements need to be made in girls common room and washrooms.
