It allowed me to reflect on my journey. Great.

      College Infrastructure

It is quite okay in terms of infrastructure. The current student union did their best to improve it but still there's still a lot more work left to do. We although have all the facilities like computer labs, libraries, etc but we don't have a hostel and the sports area is not very maintained. The students have to manage on their own. In terms of cleanliness, good. The spaces are clean and the canteen serves good food, chole bhature here are my personal favourite.

      Academics

I am pursuing B.A. (Vocational Studies) Human Resources Management there because I wanted a career in hr in future. The quality of teaching is good here, the teachers are very nice here. Very helpful. The vocational courses here are the best. The curriculum isn't well updated though, because most DU students follow theory heavy approach, so the students would have to hustle outside the classroom like internships, certifications, network, etc. to be job ready.

      Placements

The quality of placements is pretty average. Highest package offered here are not more than 8-10 LPA. Courses like BMS, B.Com (hons), hrm gets better offer. Average package offered here is around 3-4 LPA. So like yeah, it's a pretty average experience. The placement cell exists here and is pretty nice though.

      Value for Money

It is value for money. The fees is very low, like for HRM the fees is 14k per year. You get the tag of a DU student and greta exposure. You get to meet people from different parts of India. The location is prime, you get access to internships, events and networking, plus decent faculty and flexible academics.

      Campus Life

The campus life is pretty chill and cool. There's an active mix of events and fests, societies, chill hangout spots. The crowd is diverse and lively. There are pretty nice places around to hangout like select citywalk, hauz khas, gk, etc. Despite the cons, it has some of the best societies in DU which stays active throughout the session. Faculty is nice, very helpful, very knowledgeable. But everyone knows about the du profs. The locations is prime. Safety is decent. Nothing fancy to handle emergencies, the medical room in our college opened just recently so you can know by that. It is solid of youre self driven and independent and are not waiting on someone to spoon feed you.

      Others

This college would be great for you only if you're independent. It gives you space to grow but won't push you forward. It is great for the students who are capable of hustling.

      It's a good college

      College Infrastructure

We all know the infrastructure of Delhi University is not that good as in private universities. My college in particular is the same like not that good washrooms and clear mirrors, no working air conditioners in girls common room , but in boy common room and offices and canteen we have AC's and the college is beautiful in general the new building is way better than the old one.

      Academics

My course is human resource management, and I would not say it's a great one to pursue because there's nothing much in in but if one is looking forward to a career in hr it's a great one and, the additional subjects like sec and vac some teachers are not that good like my vedic maths teacher was not good. But the main course subject the teachers are pretty good and we also have a library so we can do self study too. I would appreciate if they put emphasis more on practical and real life based teachings and workshops for hr rather than just teaching the theory.

      Placements

I'm not sure about the placement , at this point any top university or college is not able to give a high placement so for me it all depends on the individuals skills and personality, if they can catch up a good placement opportunity, yes , you can get a good opportunity any time but there is no guarantee.

      Value for Money

Du is cheaper, and my course in particular is not expensive as it is a vocational courses.

      Campus Life

About the campus life I expected a good basketball courts or some spaces for sports like badminton, swimming etc , our seminar room is not that pleasing actually I don't even like it and the amphitheatre is pretty the college is full of flowers and Greenery so I love that, we have cultural buildings for societies and those are cool.

Cvs is good becoz of its societies

      Verified Review
      College Infrastructure

I feel infrastructure can get better .. especially when it comes to facilities and all.. the washrooms are not at all maintained. Old buildings feels like purana qila something and snb is good but still they dont schedule everyone’s class there and ground is so big ..its not utilised for fests n events.. amphitheater is good .. i like it.. seminar can get better.. and nb snb buildings are good.

      Academics

Academics for my course is genuinely very good just because of the professors i guess. Cvs has good faculty.. especi My course .. professors are really kind and guide us in everyway possible. So, yaa academics wise its good.

      Placements

Not good Because they don’t guarantee placements or anything there is no support from college in that sense as well And as i said, its the faculty who sometimes helps on personal level for placements.

      Others

Overall I genuinely feel societies are the heart of CVS .. cultural societies, women development cell , other cells, academic societies all are so good and such a great platform to explore and grow and genuinely my whole college life revolves around societies..if i would’ve not joined so societies my all the reviews would have been so negative.. but yeah cvs is one of the best chapters of my life.

My experience in this college is good fs.

      College Infrastructure

Infrastructure is fine as compared to any average college in India but lacks in some basic facilities like Air conditioning, wifi, And many more things overall the college is good in terms of infrastructure .

      Academics

I am studying human resources management in CVS because i was interested in management. Teachers are quite good and supporting and teaching is good . There are so many opportunities to experience things practically not just theoretically and curriculum is updated and follows NEP guidelines.

      Placements

Placements are quite impressive but not as much as you expect from a delhi University college. It provides so many opportunities to students for placement and so many companies also offer jobs to the students every year. College is also supportive in this.

      Value for Money

25000 /year and it's worth the money for sure.

      Others

I am a student of college of vocational studies, Delhi University. And according to me if you want to experience true delhi University life and as well as city life you can choose this college as it offers a variety of experience and also the location of the college is very fine for any student . And it's worth the money and efforts you put to get into this college

      good experience

      College Infrastructure

When I first got this college I wasn't very happy because it wasn't my ideal college. After 12th, I was very eager to join the prestigious Delhi University. This college is not one of the bad colleges of Du but it definitely needs a lot of improvement. Crowd is pretty decent but infrastructure is very poor. I am not even talking about the lack of AC's .. classrooms and washrooms are in such poor conditions. However I have completed my first year of college and well I am excited to see what comes ahead. Now this college finally feels like my own.

      Academics

Faculty of this college is well educated and kind. Attendance is an issue but the faculty is very understanding. This college has so many courses so there is a wide pool of subjects to choose ge,sec or vac from.

      Placements

I have only completed first year so i don't have any personal opinions about the placement cell. Although I have heard from seniors that the placement is not good. This is very unfortunate because for courses like bcom honours cut off goes very high.

      Value for Money

Fees of this college is very affordable. I still feel that infrastructure could be improved.

      Campus Life

It's the only college of DU with a lot of societies and the crowd is also good so campus life can be fun.

      Others

So concluding everything, It is a pretty decent college you can opt for it. Only infrastructure and placement needs to be improved. It's one of the top colleges in south campus.

      College Infrastructure

The infrastructure of our college is good. The college provides a lot of facilities like seminar hall, amphitheatre, library, conference room, ground, boys common room and girls common room also. The best thing I like the most in my college is library for real it is amazing. This place provides a calm environment where we can sit and relax do whatever work we have we can do there without any disturbances. And also the ground is so big this place it is too good for sitting mostly at the time of winter. But yes one thing I don't like is washrooms of our campus. There is only 2 washroom for girls one is in the gcr and the other one is at ground side. They are neither maintained nor clean properly. Also there are AC facilities all over the campus but not in the classrooms. And sometimes it is also not working properly. Overall apart from these two things everything is maintained.

      Academics

The academics of our college is fine. Like I'm pursuing Human Resource Management and the teachers are good they provide us lot of knowledge. Apart from my course other teachers are also good. I don't know that much about them but ya I have heard from my batchmates. And also they are very supportive in case we meant with any problem with our studies they help us in every way they could. But sometimes they didn't take our messages seriously or they didn't inform us like if they cancelled the class they didn't inform us or if we send messages they also don't respond to that also and this will create a problem for us as we came from far places. And also lot of time is invested at the time of traveling. This will result in waste of money and waste of time. Overall the academics are fine but because of this reason they don't show up to us feels bad

      Placements

The placement of our college is very good. Infact it is best I can say. Like I don't know much about the placements but ya I heard from my senior friends they told me that lot of big companies offers a good package to the students. The minimum package is around 7-8 lpa for my course. Also they provides a lot of internship opportunities for all the students every year and all the students of our campus are eligible for that. And that what I like the most like everybody has a chance to grab the opportunity with their skills and knowledge. So this is all I know about my college placements as one of my friend has grabed the opportunity so that why I'm sharing with you all.

      Others

As I'm in my first year I have experienced a lot here. And seriously experiences taught me a lot. Yes this is the truth like when I came to college I don't know anything about the college but when I enter the college provide me a lot of opportunities and experiences. Also in our college there are lot of societies events and fests every year so yes in our college there is lot of fun.

      College Infrastructure

college of vocational studies is a great college situated at sheikh sarai. the infrastructure is pretty average , the campus is beautiful it has greenery all around. the faculty is also really supportive . there are three buildings and the second new building is the new one and well developed. i came with not so many expectations but with time i really fell in love with the college its a cute place with a lot of experience.

      Academics

the academics is what makes this college different since its really great the teacher are very supportive and teaches in such a manner that a student can understand well classes are held regularly with regular doubt classes which makes it a plus point in terms of academics.

      Placements

the placement is quite average of college of vocational studies. if the student is pursuing any vocational degree or courses then the chances of getting placement is great especially in the field of human resource. in terms of placement for honours courses the placement is not up to the mark hence it depends on how well one has build themselves.

      Value for Money

yes it is definitely value for money since my course bcom honours cost around 14000 every year which is justified in terms of the facilities provided the crowd the academics the infrastructure everything is justified for the money as fees.

      Campus Life

the campus life is quite fun where there is big ground so whenever a person like me involved in sports can anytime go play feel better and relaxed … it has library which is huge enough for a lot of people to read at the same time hence the campus life is quite fun with students from various cultures giving a good opportunity to learn.

      All about CVS

      Verified Review
      College Infrastructure

The college infrastructure can improve in many ways. The old building's infrastructure should be worked upon. The washrooms should be restored and ACs should be installed at comparatively more places. In summers, it becomes very difficult for the students to sustain jn the college. Classroom lights needs to be fixed. The New Building is good but the benches and overall classroom infrastructure can be enhanced. Canteen facilities can also improve. The furniture should be changed as it causes problems frequently. The environment can be better than this and hygienic as well.

      Academics

The academics are good. The teaching faculty is also nice. But I believe more practical learning should be incorporated. Only traditional learning is being practiced. More competitions and workshops should be organised related to different fields.

      Placements

Very less placements are coming for the final year students. Even if they are coming, very less package is offered. The college should tie up with some reputed companies and MNC's that provide opportunities every year to the students.

      Value for Money

Yes the money is worth it. Academics and the college facilities justify it all. The cost is quite reasonable making it convenient for students belonging to different categories.

      Campus Life

The campus life is good. There is greenery all over the college which is a plus point for the college. The environment is nice to hang out.

      Others

The college is overall nice, but it can be even more nice by making few changes in infrastructure and academics. If you have a good set of people around you, you'll enjoy your college life. The vibe is amazing.

      College Infrastructure

The college is mid, the faculty is really nice. I don’t like the infrastructure that much but the ground is good , building is good. Ambience i feel is not that nice . The is very mixed crowd. So choose according but overall the ranking of the college is good and you can go for it

      Academics

Academics is ok , like some teachera are really helpful and they will give you marks and attendance some are not . I had some trouble experience with one teacher. She didnt give marks and one month before the college closing she said i will not take any assignments now

      Placements

Placement cell is really working, they give good internships and job opportunity they are really working a lot ai have seen closely and some internships are really great and mostly are with stipend so that is a plus point too

      Value for Money

for 14000, it is for good valuee for sure

      Campus Life

Campus life is good , you have a lot of things to do around the college. There is select city walk mall , south delhi you will get for sure
