Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Polymer Science and Technology is a four-year full-time undergraduate program recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and offered by the Cochin University of Science and Technology, Kochi.
Admission for B.Tech course is based on the CAT (Common Admission Test) conducted by the University) ranking. CAT examination is usually conducted in the month of May. Applications will be available during January/February. Upto 20% of the seats will be reserved for candidates sponsored by public/private sector industries or research and development establishments in the field of Polymer Science/Technology.
Pass in Plus Two examination of the State of Kerala with mathematics, physics, and chemistry as optional subjects or any other examination accepted as equivalent thereto securing a minimum of 50 % marks in mathematics and 50% marks in mathematics, physics and chemistry put together.
Two additional seats are open for 'lateral entry' students. Students who have completed a three-year Diploma in Polymer Engineering/Technology are to eligible to apply.
