The application process for the Dr. G.D. Pol Foundation YMT Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital PG Institute will be different for different courses, which are as follows:

The Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) programme at Dr. G.D. Pol Foundation YMT Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital PG Institute is conducted through NEET scores. The approved intake for the course is 100 seats. The Dr. G.D. Pol Foundation, YMT Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital PG Institute admission is strictly through the merit list of the Common Entrance Test (NEET).
The institute offers various MD and MS courses in Ayurvedic specialities. AIAPGET admission will be allowed from the All India AYUSH Post Graduate Entrance Test based on merit. Institutes provide all their MD streams of specialities through their campus as well: Sharir Rachana; Sharir Kriya, Dravyaguna, Rasa Shastra Bhaishajya Kalpana; Kayachikitsa, Panchakarma, and Rog Nidany; and Samhita Sidhant as well with Agad Tantra. It provides Shalakya Tantra, Samanya, Prasuti Tantra, and Stri Roga with MS degrees in the special streams. Most of these courses have a capacity of 4–8 seats. The highest intake of seats is for Rasa Shastra Bhaishajya Kalpana at 8 seats.
The institute also offers Ph.D. courses in Ayurveda Agadtantra, Shalya Tantra, Dravyaguna, Rog Nidan, Rasashastra, Stree Rog Prasutitantra, Samhita, and Panchkarma. The entry for Ph.D programmes seems to be done through a different entrance exam followed by an interview, but no specific information has been provided about this.
