SCGMC Nanded provides admissions based on the national-level entrance examination. The college provides UG and PG level admission to the candidates in the medical and allied sciences. Dr Shankarrao Chavan Government Medical College UG admissions are given to MBBS courses based on the NEET entrance examination. 

SCGMC Nanded PG admission is given to MD and MS courses. Dr Shankarrao Chavan Government Medical College admission into the MD/MS programme is based on the NEET PG courses. PWD candidates seeking admission at SCGMC Nanded should bring PWD certificates from specified centres and in the prescribed format given in the brochure. SCGMC Nanded seat intake for MBBS is 150.

SCGMC Nanded MD admissions are provided in Anaesthesiology, General Medicine, Social and Preventive Medicine, Forensic Medicine, Tuberculosis and Respiratory Diseases, Microbiology, Biochemistry, and many more specialisations. The MD/MS duration is 3 years.

• Aspirants applying to the courses should meet the SCGMC Nanded selection criteria of the course.

• The eligible candidates can fill up the application form with all the required details.

• The candidates having valid scores in the NEET PG examination and meeting SCGMC Nanded NEET PG cutoff criteria should register for the SCGMC Nanded counselling session.

• The shortlisting of the candidates and allotment of SCGMC Nanded seats is based on the performance of the candidate in the NEET PG examination.
