36 MonthsDiploma in Mining Engineering is a three-year full-time course offered by West Bengal State Council of Technical Education, Kolkata, and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
Eligibility Criteria
Students must have passed Class 10th or Equivalent Examinations with English, Physical Science/Science, and Mathematics among other subjects, securing at least 35% marks (without rounding up) in aggregate as per AICTE norms, excluding the marks of the subjects taken as additional.
For LATERAL ENTRY- minimum 10+2 Vocational or 2 years ITI (passed out) course trainees can take admission through VOCLET Entrance Examination conducted by WBSCT & VE & SD, Kolkata.
Admission Details
75% of counseling quota seats are filled up in each branch through the JEXPO Entrance Examination, conducted by “West Bengal State Council of Technical & VE & SD, Kolkata. 25% of seats are filled up by the colleges directly as per the norms given by AICTE and WBSCT & VE & and SD.
