My college, Dyal Singh evening college is located in the core delhi (heart of delhi) , Lodhi road and near by Jawaharlal Nehru metro station so the travel time from my house is very better for me, and I am very respectful for Immortal Dyal Singh to give a land for welfare of students who were reading in delhi university students were always thankful to him , in my college we will find better education from our delhi university professors they were every time attention to what reading materials they teach us every next day they always motivated students to work hard continuously if they want to success in their life and we were very lucky that our professor were behaved like our parents, but at the same time my college campus were very massive/huge and every time some types of competition were conducted in every time or seasonal games were conducted by the department ( like political science department) and players were enjoyed this type of matches but I want if we were maintain our sports infrastructure so many players have opportunity to prove himself/herself in sports competition and we have a canteen in our college and we want to assure the rate of goods material and we and to hygiene our toilets and bathrooms and also safety for girls by those students who were troubling /ragging girls and assuring the rules and regulations these types of students and , we want to increase the number of seats in girls and boys hostel and maintain their security . And we want to digitalization our classroom like digital board and 3D animation structure images and videos to developing our imaginations power .
My college experience is very good but the because professors were complete their syllabus at right time and they were very careful for students and I study (political science honours) cource in BA honours and our syllabus quality were improve every year. But I want to tell that any job were not ready after my graduation.
Many of placement function and advertisement were advertising in my college but as far as I know that placement ratio is not very good or we can say it's average, as far as I know that the average salary was 30000 for political science honours students but in the eta of inflation that is very difficult to survive in the society.
The cource of my political science honours cost is 14700 per annum that is very good for poor students who weren't afford the high prices for this type of better course .yes I feel that I am getting my money worth because of better education system of Delhi university
My campus life is good because I spend my some time with my friends in college to know the condition of friends and how were they survive there because the room rent is so high in Delhi it is difficult to survive there.
The college is that place where students were developed their thinking process of their minds,We want to also boys hostel in Delhi university to survive there because so of many students were come in delhi but it is difficult to survive there because room rent is so high prices that is not affordable by poor students whose parents were small farmers and they were also a labour in their area's because for they also want to see their children successful in his life I am very requested university.
The college infrastructure is decent with spacious classrooms, a good library, sports facilities, and a clean campus. It functions like a regular day college and provides a comfortable environment. Nice and decent vibes
The academics are good with supportive faculty and regular classes. Teachers explain concepts clearly and provide guidance. The college offers a balanced academic environment for learning and growth.
The placement opportunities are decent, with companies visiting for internships and job roles. The placement cell actively organizes workshops and drives to help students with career growth. Many societies also function for the placements
The college offers good value for money with affordable fees, quality education, experienced faculty, and various opportunities, making it a worthwhile choice for students. Good canteen facility and decent campus
Campus life is enjoyable with a friendly environment, active societies, cultural events, and student activities. Despite the name, it functions like a regular day college with a lively atmosphere. I like the atmosphere here
My experience here has been good overall. The college provides a positive environment, supportive teachers, and opportunities to learn, participate in activities, and enjoy campus life.
1. This is one of the most average college of DU as it's infrastructure is so basic although it's better than morning one but still our evening college have one building and they are unable to maintain it. 2. Secondly, I would like say that The classroom are fine only because the walls in there aren't made of bricks it looks like some tough cardboard and the tables and the Walls are pathetic because students have done drawings and writings on them. But I would say it is better than many south campus colleges because the campus is big but needs maintenance.
1. So Currently I am pursuing BA programme History+ Political science...I would say Teachers are quite good espcially political science one and few teachers of History are great so overall academics are good 2. Curriculum is updated yess but it procedures are slow and if anyone who will do hard work in whatever they are studying then ofc it will make me job ready.
1. Placements are average as well I would say but commerce students are really benefitted from it they learn many new things and are getting skills so they might get placement. There has been many workshops for students and dignitaries called for their knowledge
1. My course cost 14k + around 2k practical sub. fees per semester 2. I think it's the worth of it because the faculty is aware and admin office is working on regular basis but i would say 50-50 worth Because there is so much improvement that this college requires .
1.I think my college campus is quite big it is the best feature and worst is that it needs maintenance and the campus potential is not being used properly as there is so much that could be done on here. 2. It's location is besttt out of everything Because Metro is available Just outside the college and Bus Stop is also very near so it's quite convenient for everyone. 3. The Societies are great here and the only thing that make this college interesting and busy as they recently organised quite good fest compared to other south campus . 4. It is safe but should be wary of crowd here they are quite violent i mean few communities.
So , First when I came here I was not very happy with this college and I was so bored also the crowd here was not very good and still ...But As I adapted here I got to know about many things like There are different Societies in which we can participate and be the part of art and culture and also the most interesting debating society where I learnt many things ..For exposure i would say it's a good college I got to interact with many new and talented people here and teachers are also very finee.
The college infrastructure is good even new building proposal is introduced. Recently the new academic block building start for regular classes and sps block there for other extra ge ,sec, vac class conducted there
The quality of education given is very good. If you are willing to do study then you loved the academic session throughout the years. The library is there you can issue book from there and a room for study in library.
The placement cell is there for willing students who want to do work for coperates. The course you persue provide you less opportunity in getting job or getting placement in college there is session organised for students
College infrastructure is good but not as like other top colleges of DU , basically there is lack of proper ventilation, sufficient rooms , also building is small comparing the number of students. Otherwise there is well equipped seminar hall , spacious library , proper wifi network , very neat and clean campus.
I am studying there Political Science hons, I get enough marks in cuet to get admission in more best colleges , but what attracts me towards dyal singh evening college is its faculty of political Science, it is like mind blowing , super fantastic , very supportive and focuses on overall development socially , practically and theoretically. Also as like we know dyal singh is famous for politics, so you get here proper field for understanding it from very close and practically . Also political Science department society ' Rajniti Vigyan Parishad ' is very famous all over the DU.
Placements are not so good but yes if you work hard and mainly smart , you can get proper placements from vary companies all over the india , also placement cell of Dyal Singh Evening College is very good and supportive .
Definitely, Dyal Singh Evening College is value for money as it gives you exposure to represent yourself in various group of students. Fees is like very normal and you can say very minimal , like if we talk about my course Political Science hons , fees is around 13.5K per year which is very reasonable. Yes , I feel that I am getting my money's worth properly .
Dyal Singh Evening College, like I want to say it is the excellent choice of you want great exposure in vary group of students , modern , typical thinking , intelligent minds , curious nature , sports people , and a very diverse group of students , just doing fun . Also it is located at prime location of new delhi.and just come out of jln metro stadium , and your college is in front of you .
Very good , it has a great environment, benches area also good , it has a great library too , teachers are cooperative and overall studying environment is also good , also has ground and amphitheatre
Very good , with great academics and teachers who are really helpful and help us in every single thing , they explain the topics really nicely and also help the students in understanding the concept really very well
Bad, no placement support. Students have to find their own path . No councelling provided and no proper placement offers student have to only pursue further studies from here and the placement cell is also not very active
Yes
Good
The college has all the basic amenities and has a well structured infrastructure and facilities and equipment as well....we are provided with one of the biggest ncc ground , spacious classrooms , libraries and laboratories. Provided with free internet, and projecting class rooms . And the living spaces are clean and hygiene is maintained as well.
The faculty is amazing, teachers are friendly and are very much oriented towards true and practical learning. We are frequently sent on field works , and help to get us real life experience In our freq
We are provided with internship with government of India, like in niti aayog and ministry of external affairs, and home ministry as well .... and there are many other private and public ngos and other helping group which hire us as interns!!
The environment of the college is friendly, and I really loved the faculty and facilities!!
Once u here , u are gonna love it !!
"The college infrastructure is a mix of modern architecture and outdated facilities. While the building is newly constructed and looks impressive from the outside, it lacks the essential modern amenities inside. In the classrooms, instead of smart boards or digital teaching aids, we still use traditional chalk and blackboards, which feels outdated for a new building. The laboratory equipment is also of low quality and needs to be upgraded to meet current standards. One of the biggest drawbacks is the Wi-Fi connectivity; it is practically non-existent and doesn't work at all. To support students' academic needs, the management should install at least 3 to 4 Wi-Fi routers on every floor. Regarding living facilities, the college does not provide a hostel. Lastly, the canteen food is a major concern. Although the kitchen might look clean, the food hygiene is very poor. I have personally suffered from stomach pain and food poisoning multiple times after eating there, so I would strongly advise caution regarding the canteen food."
"I am currently pursuing a BA Programme with a combination of HRM (Human Resource Management) and Economics. I chose this course because it offers a unique blend of management skills and economic theories, which are essential for a career in the corporate sector. The academic experience at my college is exceptional, primarily due to the faculty. The teaching staff is the best part of this institution; they are highly knowledgeable and very professional in their approach. The lectures are well-structured and highly interactive. Instead of just following the books, the professors ensure that every topic is explained in a way that is easy to understand. The interaction between students and faculty is excellent, and the teachers are always approachable for solving doubts or discussing career prospects. The syllabus is comprehensive and updated, covering all the necessary aspects of both HRM and Economics. Although we lack modern tools like smart boards, the faculty’s ability to explain complex concepts through traditional methods is commendable. Their dedication makes the learning process enjoyable, and I feel that the quality of education here is preparing me well for my future goals."
Placements are not at all good, they arrange an annual fair for placement once in a year but that doesn't benefitt much as far as i've seen. The recruit very less students and with an average salary package that doesn't satisfy the work and their conditions."My BA Programme (HRM + Economics) is definitely Value for Money. Despite the affordable fees, the quality of education is exceptional, thanks to our highly knowledgeable and supportive faculty. While the college lacks modern infrastructure like smart boards and reliable Wi-Fi, the academic guidance we receive is top-notch. Additionally, the Placement Cell is extremely hardworking and brings in good companies, providing us with ample opportunities. If you are looking for a strong academic foundation and great teachers at a reasonable cost, this course is a perfect choice."

"My college experience was much more than just academics; it was a vibrant journey defined by an incredible cultural spirit and life-changing friendships. The campus was always alive with energy, giving me a platform to discover myself and create moments that I will cherish forever. But the true highlight of these years has been the amazing friends I found—people who stood by me like family, turning every ordinary day into an extraordinary memory. From the high-energy fests to the quiet heart-to-heart conversations, they made my college life truly legendary. I'm walking away not just with a degree, but with a lifetime of laughter and bonds that are irreplaceable."
No no I write all the things above nothing left to explain.
Dyal singh has an average infrastructure with with some old and new buildings that are still in progress. It has a clean environment with majorly most of the facilities provided in the campus like wifi, library, etc.
Dyal Singh has an amazing group of faculty members that are all cooperative and hekpful wit students. They provide with you study material and help you understand the concepts clearly and in the best way for future.
Our college conducts annual fair for placements in which students can apply for many companies that come in thus fair with amazing opportunities and many students also get placement with good salary package.
College infrastructure is not good, it's like an old college, with old buildings. It has all equipments but not with new technology that would fascinate the students. It doesn't have smart board yet wifi but with low speed.
Dyal Singh has such a good faculty despite of an average architecture. The professors are so helpful and teach so good both in english and hindi that help to learn concepts clearly with better understanding.
It do not have good placement opportunities as far as i've been here i've seen an annual fair of placement once in every year. Many students get jobs in this fair but they should provide more opportunities more times in a year.
