The infrastructure of the college is up to the mark, the building is beautifully designed and the classrooms are very spacious, clean toilets makes our lives much easier. The library of the college is the best part, where you can easily study and get all the books that you need.
The methodology of teaching is same as most colleges, although teachers really help you that's usually not common colleges where professor ignore you as if you belong to some other planet, the curriculum is same as all other du colleges
There is a placement cell in the college that conducts internship fairs annually and help students to get an exposure of the corporate world, they also conduct seminars that helps you, how to prepare your self for an interview and other necessary skills that are required to land a job.
The fees of the college is pretty low, and it also varies depending upon your caste. The general category have to pay the highest fee, but that is pretty low compared to other private colleges.
College infrastructure is quite good as compare to other DU colleges. Facilities and equipment's are good in terms of academics but if you compare for sports its not that much good. On the other hand food provided by canteen is quite good and hygienic
In terms of academics its not that much strict and the teachers are quite educated and friendly. Its just like other colleges where students don't come to the class and just by bond they can give exams
Placements are quite okay in this college not that good not that bad but i think if you go out without placement from college then you will find better jobs then college. But college is quite supportive in terms of placements of students
My college fees is 10000 and i am very satisfied with the fee structure as it is same as every DU college and people are quite friendly here and i find that my money is worth it and you must go for ths college
In terms of Campus life it just like other DU colleges and also in the campus politics is there and if yu have keen interest in politics then you must take admission in this college and location is quite good and near to the metro station
GOOD COLLEGE
For the academic purpose infrastructure is good but in the view point of sports there is no separate field for cricket and football there is lack of sports equipments. Again if we see academics, library has much improved in last couple of years there is lot of newspaper, students find it on table which further enhancing our intellectual thinking and perspectives.
In dyal singh evening college teachers are more focused and enthusiastic. They don't just focus to complete the courses in time but whenever a need arises they inculcate various other stuffs to improve one's personality and behaviour.
In dyal Singh evening college if we talk about placements there is much needed upgradation in the companies which are coming to provide various opportunities to the students. Recently there was an internship fair but the companies are not that up to the mark. In South Delhi campus students of dyal Singh evening college students are demanding big 4 to offer of precious opportunities for the upliftment of their personality ,ability and work performance.
Admission in Delhi university is one's, like dream comes true it is known for its brand value and and the cost they offer for each course. The course cost per year is so low that it benefits to the lower income group and provide a standard base to all the students. Studying in DU is much money worthy. Yes maybe this is one reason that it is one of the largest Asia university.
If we talk about college campus it is one of the the largest campus in the south Delhi campus. the environmental department has done a lot of work to improve the greenery of the campus. But there is not much playing area for the students and this is the worst thing this campus has. Teachers are supportive and of course the don't take leaves unless and until there is an urgent need. If we talk about safety it's safe. The top authorities are cooperative and they handle emergencies very well.
Everything is good in dyal Singh evening college but in summers, due to hot weather students feel sweating all around and there is no air conditioner in the whole campus except in library. Various societies of this college are doing well and giving great opportunities to students to show their hidden talents and to uplift their passion. Students having stage fear are now doing well.
Everything is maintained upto a limit only. We share our canteen with morning college. We have single playground for both the colleges. We face problems for seminar hall, auditorium and amphitheatre, because they usually already booked by morning colleges. Food is okay.
I am a student of B.com(hons.) and faculty members are so good no doubt. They are all good at teaching, some of them are not that much good. Yes, they keep on updating us about new curriculum and help up in study according to that.
I am a second year student right now, so I don't enough information about this but u heard many times, hardly students get any placement from our college, unlike other colleges. The placement is done by the help of our placement cell of our college, they organise fairs for this.
Yes, I am paying only 13000 per year for this course. Being a student of Delhi University, I am fully satisfied. I think I am getting money's worth because of teachers.
Campus life is nice though. Our college has AnC club for for artist, that works well. They keep on organising even for all the students. We have commerce department which organise amazing events every week. Worst as I told you, it's hard to book auditorium and seminar hall. Yes, it's at very safe and amazing place, nearby NHC and lodhi garden.
Nothing.
