The Government College of Engineering Jalgaon is one of the better autonomous colleges in Maharashtra. The professors are good (Better in Mechanical Dept). Most of the HODs are doctorates and professors are PG from IITs and IISc. This is the most weak point of this college. Also this is most Discussing point between first year studentsT. Placement is the most weak point of this college. Very few company visits in the college.

if we compare to Amaravati college then it is slightly better than in every department.

Placement record of government Engineering college is good. Top companies visit here for recruitment.

In 2019-20 nearly 240 students got placed. Last year the students got package of 17.3 lakhs which is highest package till now. BPCL offered this package.

As it is shown at its official website and many other websites  Government college of engineering karad take into consideration mht cet not from jee main and according to mht cet cutoff your rank should be for state level around 4300-5000 cutoff then there is a chance for getting admission in college.
