Government First Grade College, Kadur, is an affiliated college set up in the Chikmagalur district, Karnataka. The institution provides undergraduate and postgraduate programs in arts, commerce, and sciences. Degree-Wise Admission Process

BA (Bachelor of Arts):  The college organizes BA courses with four different specializations- History, Economics, Political Science, and Sociology/Anthropology. The admission to BA programs is based on the merit of the candidate's 10+2 results. The college exposes students to one semester each of Kannada and English language courses.

BCA (Bachelor of Computer Applications): For admission in BCA, candidates' requisites are the passing of +2 with mathematics or computer science as one of the subjects. Selection is usually made based on a merit list of qualifying examination result.

B.Com (Bachelor of Commerce): B.Com is open to students with 10+2 in commerce subjects. It is based on marks in qualifying examinations.

B.Sc (Bachelor of Science): The B.Sc program admission is based on the merit of 10+2 results, with preference given to students who have studied science subjects in their higher secondary school.

MA Economics: To be considered for admission into the MA Economics program, a candidate will need to have obtained a degree of their bachelor level with Economics as one of the subjects offered. Selection is based on the Bachelor's degree result.

M.Sc Mathematics: A bachelor's degree with Mathematics as the main subject is needed for admission into the M.Sc Mathematics program. For the selection process, the marks scored in the Bachelor's degree are considered.
