Depending on the degree, the criteria and steps for admission may differ under university and state policies. The following information outlines the specific process for each course offered by the college.
GFGCS offers three distinct BA programmes as follows:
GFGCS admission is determined by the merit list drawn up from the scores achieved in the 10+2 or equivalent exam. The relevant subjects must have been studied in his/her 10+2.
The college has run a Bachelor of Commerce programme where GFGCS admission is entirely merit-based according to performance in the qualifying examination. Students who had Commerce and related subjects in their +2 are eligible to apply for admission in the programme.
B.Sc - Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics programme is mainly for science stream students, whose criteria of GFGCS admission are based on the merit list which compiles the scores of 10+2 with preference to students studying Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as a subject in their higher secondary standards.
BBM is also one of the courses that GFGCS has put in place. GFGCS admission takes merit consideration from qualifying examination marks. Although students from Commerce or Business Studies would have a slight edge, it admits students from all streams.
