This is a blooming institution, the Government Medical College, Dindigul in Tamil Nadu. The college underwent its first admission. According to national standards set for medical education in India, the college is subjected to a very rigorous admission procedure. To get admission in Government Medical College, Dindigul, candidates would have to qualify for the NEET-that is the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-one of the national-level tests for prospective medical students. Admission would be given only after qualifying NEET with the prescribed cut-off marks.
The admission process would be held in conjunction with the NEET exam cycle, which would be held once in a year at least. Eligibility criteria would be that aspirants have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as subjects.
