Situated in Siruvangur Village, Kallakurichi, the college is recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC) along with all the standards pertaining to medical colleges across India. Being a government institution, it provides brilliant medical education at comparatively lesser costs to fulfill the more and more rising healthcare demand in the area. Admission to Government Medical College, Kallakurichi will be primarily on the basis of the NEET. NEET is the national-level examination which is the only gateway for aspiring medical students to enter medical schools in India.
