Government Polytechnic, Panchkula Admission 2026: Dates, Fees, Eligibility, Cutoff & Application Form

Government Polytechnic Panchkula is an established institution that provides diploma-level courses in various fields of engineering disciplines. The admission to Diploma courses is offered in full-time study mode. Government Polytechnic Panchkula admissions are offered in the Diploma in Engineering and Architecture streams. 

Government  Polytechnic Panchkula accepts admissions on the basis of Haryana Polytechnic centralised counselling process. Interested students will be required to apply for admission through the official website of Haryana Polytechnic. Candidates do not need to apply at Government Polytechnic Panchkula separately. Candidates seeking GP Panchkula admission will have to appear for the Haryana Polytechnic counselling and enter their preference as GP Panchkula as their first preference. The Government Polytechnic Panchkula seat intake is 420.

• Visit the official website of Haryana Polytechnic
• Click on the “New Registration” tab.
• Enter basic details like your mobile number, email address, and name.
• Select a password for your account.
• After completing the registration part, log in to the candidate portal and fill out the detailed application.
• Enter all the required academic, personal, and communication details.
• Upload scanned copies of your photograph and signature.
• Pay the required application fee in your preferred mode of payment.
• Download and print the application confirmation page for future use in future.

Qualified students should submit the documents for verification and make the admission fee payment to confirm the allotted seat. The duration of the Govt Polytechnic Panchkula courses is 3 years.

GP Panchkula Diploma Admission Process

• Visit the official website of Haryana Polytechnic. Candidates are required to check the detailed counselling schedule and participate accordingly.
• Log in to the candidate portal and enter your first preference as Government Polytechnic Panchkula.
• Admission of the candidates will be based on inter-se-merit/rank prepared on the percentage of the Secondary School Examination (Matriculation) or an equivalent qualifying examination. 
• Next, the candidates will have to visit the campus for document verification and pay the admission fee.
• Upon successful payment of the tuition fee, the candidate's admission will be confirmed.

Note: Admission of the candidates to the Diploma level courses under the lateral entry scheme who fulfill all other conditions for admission shall be made on the basis of merit in their entrance examination DET(L).
