    Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) course is five years full-time, which includes 4 years of curriculum plus 1 year of rotating internship, offered by The West Bengal University of Health Sciences, Kolkata, and approved by the Dental Council of India (DCI).


    Eligibility Criteria

    • The candidate must have completed the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission to the BDS course.
    • The candidate must have passed the Higher Secondary Examination or equivalent at 10+2 level from a recognized council/board and passed Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English individually, and obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, will be eligible for admission. Mere fulfilling eligibility criteria does not guarantee admission.

    Admission Details

    All admission to UG courses (NEET qualified) is through the medical counseling committee of the government of West Bengal.
