Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Mechanical Engineering is a four-year full-time undergraduate program recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and offered by the Anna University, Chennai.
Eligibility Criteria
A pass in the HSC (Academic) or its equivalent with a minimum average percentage in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry put together as given below.
OC-50% Minimum average marks in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry put together
BC / BCM-45% Minimum average marks in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry put together
MBC / DNC / SCA / SC / ST-40% Minimum average marks in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry put together
A pass in any one of the HSC (Vocational Subject) as given below with any one of the Engineering related subjects namely Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry with a minimum average percentage put together as given below.
OC-50% A Pass with Minimum average marks in Related Subjects, Vocational Theory, and Practicals put together
BC / BCM-45% A Pass with Minimum average marks in Related Subjects, Vocational Theory, and Practicals put together
MBC / DNC / SCA / SC / ST-40% A Pass with Minimum average marks in Related Subjects, Vocational Theory, and Practicals put together
Lateral Entry:
The minimum eligibility marks in for admission to the second year B.E/ B.Tech. degree courses under the lateral entry for Diploma and B.Sc. candidates as below.
OC-55% Minimum Eligible Marks
BC / BCM-50% Minimum Eligible Marks
MBC / DNC -45% Minimum Eligible Marks
SCA / SC / ST - A Mere pass in the qualifying examination
The infrastructure is good and the design architecture of buildings are very good. The computer labs are well equipped with latest monitors and operating system. The overall infrastructure of college is good.
