66 MonthsBachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) course is 5.5 years, which includes 4.5 years of curriculum plus 1 year of rotating internship. course offered by the West Bengal University of Health Sciences, Kolkata, and approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC).
Qualifying Exam: The candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as core subjects in both Classes 11 and 12 from a recognized Board; candidates from NIOS Board are eligible - Gap year between Class 11 and 12 is permitted.
Minimum Age Requirement: 17 years as on December 31, 2018 or 17 years as on December 31 of the year of admission.
Maximum Age Limit: No upper age limit
Qualifying Marks: UR - 50%, OBC/SC/ST - 40%, PWD - 45% (minimum aggregate marks only for PCB subjects).
Maximum Attempts: No limit on the permitted number of attempts.
Nationality: Indian Nationals, NRIs, OCIs, PIOs & Foreign Nationals.
Admissions in MBBS course will be done through National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG).
