JIMSH Kolkata has a boy’s hostel facility and these hostels are facilitated with many amenities that are required for a comfortable stay of the students.

The college has a girl's hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students. JIMSH Kolkata hostels are facilitated with a mess, wardens, gaming setups, CCTV surveillance, internet connectivity and many more amenities.

The college consists of a Central Library and 17 Departmental Libraries, which collectively support the teaching, research, and extension programs of the college. The Central Library is well equipped with modern facilities and resources in the form of books, journals, the back volume of journals, theses, WHO publications, CD ROMs, and internet services.

The college has departmental-based laboratories for each department. JIMSH Kolkata laboratories are well-equipped and students are given regular practical sessions.

The college has a health center with a first aid facility for the students. Serious cases can be transferred to the nearest hospital by college's reference.

The campus has facilities for outdoor games like Cricket, Football, Volleyball, Basketball, and a 400-meter track for athletics. The indoor sports complex at JIMSH offers provision for indoor games like carom, chess, and others. The Physical Education department, under the supervision of a qualified Physical Director, caters to the physical development of the students. The responsibility of the Physical Director is to conduct and supervise all intramural activities for the entire year. This is to ensure that students are well-trained and competitive in any state or national level event.

To enable the library users to access the subscribed e-resources and other internet resources, a computer and internet room have been built on the first floor of the library. The library provides internet browsing facilities for faculty members and students.

The college cafeterias at JIMSH provide hygienically cooked delicious food to cater to the gastronomic needs of both the staff members and the students at affordable costs.

JIMSH Kolkata has an auditorium facility for events and seminars. The auditorium is spacious and can accommodate a large number of students.
