Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering is a four-year full-time undergraduate Course offered by KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliated to Anna University, Chennai.

Eligibility Criteria

Tamilnadu Candidates

The candidates must have passed the 12th standard (intermediate) or its equivalent examination from the Government recognized board with the subjects as Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with the percentage as 45% (for general candidates), 40% (for backward class including Muslim), 40% (MBC & DNC) and 40% (for SC/ST/SCA) candidates.

Other State Candidates

As the candidates from other states are considered under General Category, a Pass with minimum average marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics put together as 45% (General Category)

NRI (Non-Resident Indian Category)

The candidate should have passed in all the subjects and scored a minimum average of 45% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics put together as in General Category

FN (Foreign National Category)

The candidate should have passed in all the subjects and scored a minimum average of 45% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics put together

Eligibility Criteria for Lateral Entry (Direct Second Year) B. E. / B. Tech Programmes

Passed Diploma examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in any branch of Engineering and Technology

Admission Details

Government of Tamil Nadu makes admissions to B.E. / B.Tech. Courses of all the affiliated colleges through a common merit list of candidates administered by Anna University, Chennai.

College Infrastructure

My college has the best atmosphere so that students learn and work in a pleasant environment. Workspace is provided for students to do projects and other works. MAC labs are provided for students for lab classes and projects. Wi-Fi is provided to students and faculty members on campus. All the facilities like the gym, hostel, and playgrounds for sports are highly equipped and maintained. Hostel and food served in the canteen are good.

College Infrastructure

Honestly, our college infrastructure is pretty solid. Classrooms? They've got the smart boards and Wi-Fi, which makes lectures way more engaging. Labs are decent, we get to use actual equipment, not just simulations. The library is my go-to spot; tons of books and online stuff, plus its quite enough to actually study. The sports facilities are a big plus, We've got a gym, fields for outdoor games and courts for indoor stuff. The hostel's not bad either; its clean, safe and has the basics. Overall its a good setup for learning and living.
