Maharajah's Institute of Medical Sciences (MIMS), Nellimarla, is a reputed medical college that was founded in 2003 and is affiliated with Dr YSR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada, and recognised by the National Medical Commission (NMC). The Institute offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in medicine and allied sciences. MIMS Nellimarla admission is highly competitive and based on national-level entrance exams. For undergraduate programmes, Maharajah's Institute of Medical Sciences admission is done by way of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG), and for postgraduate programmes, admission is done via the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET-PG).
