Maria Homeopathic Medical College and Hospital, Kanyakumari, has since its establishment been bringing eminent education into the field of homeopathy. Admissions into the Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS) programme are on merit although the admission process is subject to national guidelines as per the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) held by the National Testing Agency (NTA).  This college is duly recognized by the Central Council of Homeopathy and shall comply with the national guidelines for the study of homeopathy.

Application Process

Degree-Wise Admission Process

Maria Homeopathic Medical College and Hospital offers a 6-year Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery programme as a full-time course. It is the first and only program in the institution intended to impart the much required knowledge of the principles and practices of homeopathy. 

Admission in the BHMS program is on the basis of merit secured through the NEET examination, and the approved intake of the college for this course is 60 seats. Candidates who qualify in NEET will have to go through the single-window counseling session conducted by the Government of Tamil Nadu for admission in this program.

Admission eligibility criteria for BHMS typically will include:

1. Completion of class 12 or any equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology
2. A valid NEET score based on cut-offs prescribed by the authorities
3. Any age minimum specified by governing bodies.
