Mathrusri Ramabai Ambedkar Dental College and Hospital, in Bangalore, Karnataka, is a premier academic institution accredited by the Dental Council of India (DCI) and the Indian Nursing Council (INC). Under graduate and postgraduate programs in dental sciences are offered, with an extremely rigorous and merit-based admission procedure. Admission process starts in the month of May-June for the academic session commencing in August-September. BDS: Admission to the 5-year Bachelor of Dental Surgery program is based solely on NEET-UG scores. The department admits 100 students to this program. For all categories of seats, including Government Quota, Private Open Quota, and NRI/Management Seats, candidates must register on the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) website.

MDS: College admissions to the MDS degree programs, each a total of 3 years duration, depend on NEET-MDS score results. The specializations include:

  2. MDS Periodontology (6 seats)
  3. MDS Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics (6 seats)
  4. MDS Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (5 seats)
  5. MDS Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics (5 seats)
  6. MDS Oral Medicine and Radiology (3 seats)
  7. MDS Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry (3 seats)
  8. MDS Public Health Dentistry (2 seats)
  9. MDS Oral Maxillofacial Pathology and Oral Microbiology (2 seats)

For all MDS programs, candidates must have completed their BDS degree and qualified in NEET-MDS. The admission process is conducted through the Karnataka Examination Authority.
