For admission to the courses offered by the institute, candidates need to appear for the 2 hours entrance examination conducted by the institute. The exam will consist of multiple choice questions from English (40 marks), Biology (20 marks) and General Knowledge (20 marks). Courses	Admission through	Eligibility Criteria
Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (ANM)	Merit based	Candidates must have passed class 12 from a recognized board in any stream and must have scored at least 45% marks in it. Candidates should be medically fit. Candidate’s age must be between 17 to 35 years.
General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM)	Merit based	Candidates must have passed class 12 from a recognized board in any stream and must have scored at least 45% marks in it. English must be a compulsory subject in class 12. Candidates should be medically fit. Candidate’s age must be between 17 to 35 years.
BSc Nursing	Merit based	Candidates must have passed class 12 from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology subjects and must have scored at least 45% marks in it (40% in case of SC & OBC candidates). Candidates should be medically fit. Candidate’s age must be between 17 to 35 years.
Post Basic BSc Nursing	Merit based	Candidates passed in the General Nursing & Midwifery course can apply. Candidates should be medically fit. There is no age limit to apply for the course.

MS Institute of Nursing, Lucknow Admission Process

Aspiring candidates need to fill the application form in offline mode. The application form can be obtained from the Academic Cell at M.S. Hospital & Research by making a payment of Rs 500.
Payment should be made through a Demand Draft from any commercial bank, drawn in favour of ‘M.S. Hospital & Research’, payable at Lucknow.
Candidates can also receive prospectus by post. To do this, they should send a DD of Rs 550 in favour of the ‘Director, M.S. Hospital & Research’, payable at Lucknow.
Applicants are required to submit self-attested copies of the below mentioned documents.

Photocopy of class 10 marksheet & certificate
Photocopy of class 12 marksheet & certificate
Transfer certificate
Character certificate

The authority will then conduct an offline test for all the candidates who have submitted the application form.
The result will be published in the form of merit list
Candidates with their names on the merit list need to appear for an interview session and must bring original academic certificates and medical fitness certificates with them.
Selection committee then releases a list of candidates eligible for admission in the institute.
