BHMS aka Bachelor of homeopathic medicine and surgery is a five year ug academic course which deals with the homeopathic medicine and the system it uses to heal people. Within the time frame the students must take internships at hospitals.

The course fees varies from college to college but it is well within 60,000 to 3,00,000. The minimum qualification required is 10+2 with a minimum percentage of 50% to 60%. The selection process is either merit based or through entrance exam. Some colleges gives direct admission based on the marks secured in 10+2 while some through entrance exam like NEET,PU CET,AP entrance exam. Colleges may even conduct group discussion or personal interview as a part of the selection process
