For admission to the Bachelor of Dental Surgery or BDS program, the admissions are conducted on the basis of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, or NEET, results. Generally, during the month of February, application procedures for the NEET examination begin, with the examination conducted in May. For postgraduate studies, NEET MDS scores are the basis for admission into MDS courses.

The BDS entrance eligibility includes the passing of 10+2 and compulsion of subjects namely Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
