    The Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) course is 5 years and accepts 100 students. National Dental College and Hospital admission is by NEET scores. Candidates must have completed their board education (10+2) in Science with Physics, Chemistry and Biology core subjects and meet the minimum qualifying percentile in NEET as prescribed by the Dental Council of India.

    National Dental College and Hospital MDS Admission Process

    The MDS (Master of Dental Surgery) programmes are several, and each lasts for 3 years. The MDS admission procedure is on the basis of the NEET-MDS rankings. The following MDS specializations are offered by MDCH:

    • MDS Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics (6 seats)
    • MDS Periodontology (4 seats)
    • MDS Paedodontics and Preventive Dentistry (3 seats)
    • MDS Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics (3 seats)
    • MDS Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (2 seats)
    • MDS Prosthodontics Crown and Bridge (2 seats)

    Eligibility for the MDS programme: Must hold a BDS degree from any recognized institution and must have completed the internship.
