First-year admission

• The candidates who pass X std or equivalent examinations with Maths and science subjects are eligible for admission into First-year Diploma Courses.

Lateral Entry Admission

• The candidates who pass XII std - Academic/Vocational group and 10th Std with 2 Years ITI are eligible to join directly into Second-year Diploma Courses.
• Separate applications are prescribed for Special reservation under ex-servicemen, differently abled and sports quota. The eligible candidates have to submit the application directly to the Directorate of Technical Education, Chennai for admission.
