    People's College of Medical Sciences and Research Centre, Bhopal Admission Process

    People's College of Medical Sciences and Research Centre (PCMS), Bhopal, is a well-renowned medical institute famous for offering extensive medical education programmes. PCMS's admission process is organised to identify the most meritorious students to join its range of undergraduate and postgraduate medical courses. PCMS depends on national-level medical entrance examinations mostly for admitting candidates to its programmes.
    For PCMS admission at the undergraduate level, PCMS considers NEET-UG scores. NEET-UG is a test compulsory for all those who aspire to become medical students in India. NEET-UG is normally held annually, with February to March being the application time and March the application deadline.

    PCMS MBBS Application Process

    • Get registered and appear for NEET-UG.
    • Qualify NEET-UG by attaining the desired cut-off marks.
    • Go through the counselling process by the concerned authorities.
    • In case allocated a seat in PCMS, report to the institution for verification of documents and PCMS admission procedures.

    PCMS MD/MS Application Process

    • Apply and appear for NEET-PG.
    • Qualify NEET-PG by scoring the required marks.
    • Undergo centralised counselling process for PG medical courses.
    • On being chosen for PCMS, undergo the PCMS admission process at the institute.

    PCMS Eligibility Process

    NEET-UG is a test compulsory for all those who aspire to become medical students in India. 

    PCMS UG Eligibility Process

    The minimum eligibility for undergraduate courses in PCMS is successful completion of 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as mandatory subjects. 

    PCMS PG Eligibility Process

    For postgraduate courses, applicants should have an MBBS degree from a recognised institution.

    PCMS Degree wise Admission Process

    PCMS offers 20 courses in the postgraduate level.

    PCMS MBBS Admission Process

    PCMS has 250 seats for MBBS. PCMS admissions are made purely on the basis of NEET-UG scores. Candidates need to clear NEET-UG and go through the following counselling process to get a seat.

    PCMS MS General Surgery Admission Process

    MS General Surgery: There are 10 seats for this postgraduate course. PCMS admissions are made through NEET-PG, and then counselling is done.

    PCMS MD Anaesthesiology Admission Process

    MD Anaesthesiology: The college has 8 seats for the same. Candidates need to qualify NEET-PG and undergo the counselling procedure for entry.

    PCMS MD General Medicine Admission Process

    MD General Medicine: Like Anaesthesiology, the course has 8 seats and PCMS admissions on the basis of performance in NEET-PG.

    PCMS MS Orthopaedics Admission Process

    MS Orthopaedics: PCMS has 7 seats for the same. PCMS admissions are done by qualification in NEET-PG followed by counselling.

    PCMS Other PG Admission Process

    Other Postgraduate Courses: PCMS also provides other MD and MS courses, such as Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Dermatology, Paediatrics, Community Medicine, Radiodiagnosis, and others. Seats differ for each course, from 2 to 6. Each of these courses has the NEET-PG based admission process.

    PCMS Documents Required

    Documents required for PCMS admission typically are:

    • NEET score card
    • Mark sheets and certificates of 10th and 12th standard
    • MBBS degree certificate and mark sheets (for PG admissions)
    • Valid proof of identity
    • Domicile certificate (if required)
    • Category certificate (if required)
    • Passport-size photographs taken recently
