Ayurvedic College, Amravati, became one of the latest establishments, newly born institutions across Ayurveda colleges in Maharashtra. This is one of the institutions which offer full-time Ayurvedic education and is approved by the CCIM - Central Council for Indian Medicine. Admission to the BAMS program is carried on meritorious basis according to the NEET UG examination accepted as the admission test by the institution. The number of students approved to take the BAMS course in this institution is 60, which comprises a compulsory one-year internship as part of the duration of 5.5 years.

Joining the College

Selection will be on the basis of merit as scored in NEET UG; application of the reservation norms to qualified candidates.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as main subjects.

2. Must fulfil the minimum age and other requirement criteria as specified by the CCIM and the Institute.

Degree-wise Admission Process

BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine & Surgery): The BAMS course shall have a fixed period of 5.5 years along with compulsory one year of internship, the sanctioned capacity of the college is 60 seats. Admission through NEET UG admission is on conformity to rules of reservation and on basis of merit.

Eligibility Criteria

1. 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology

2. Minimum 50 % aggregate in PCB for general category (45 for reserved categories).

3. Should have qualified NEET UG.

4. Minimum age of 17 years as of 31st December of the year of admission.
