Eligibility Criteria
Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.

- Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow conducts an entrance examination for 85% seats.The candidates are allotted branches on the basis of their merit through counselling conducted by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow.
- For 15% seats candidates can apply for direct admission to the RKGIT. Admission will be based on the percentage of marks obtained in qualifying exam and /or respective entrance exam as per the policies of the University.

College infrastructure is good they provide all the facilities and equipment. For the 1st year students there is smart led and boards are available in the classroom. Library, sports centre and hostel for separate girls and boys are there. Living space is clean and people can found a good environment over there.
