The college will make a veterinarian out of you!

    College Infrastructure

the infrastructure is average in its condition. There's AC classroom for students in 1st year. All the labs have old yet necessary equipment that allows the students to learn in a comprehensive manner. Students interested in any particular sport can readily take part in university level competitions. There's a basket ball court, badminton court, cricket ground, etc. There's no WIFI facility as of now in the hostel.

    Academics

The quality of education imparted is good, with regular annual exams (theory and practical) being held on a yearly basis. The curriculum followed is on the basis of MSVE 2016 regulation. Chances of landing a job after completing the course depends a lot on the aptitude of the student.

    Placements

Placements are rare and mostly occurs in the private sector such as poultry farms and most students either go for P.G. or set up their own private practice or land a Government job. It's entirely up to the student's interest and capacity.

    Value for Money

The cost of the course varies. for VCI (AIQ) students, it costs around 55,000/- per annum with hostel cost being 7,000-10,000/- per annum. The cost is on the higher side considering that it is a Government college.

    Campus Life

Best features- Talented faculty, Various kinds of animals to interact with ( turkeys, dogs, chicken, cattle, buffaloes, pigs, ducks, quails, rabbits, and a separate laboratory animals shed), Humongous campus with separate departments of various discipline. Students can engage in NSS activities and sports as well. Worst features- Lack of infrastructure, Debilitated hostels, Poor lighting in campus premises, There's literally forage crops being grown in front of the administrative building!

    Others

It's a long and arduous journey due to the longevity of the course but at the end of it, you'll come out as an educated individual ready to contribute to the society. You'll be fine.
