S Nijalingappa Institute of Dental Sciences and Research, Kalaburagi Admission Process

One of the most sought-after dental colleges instituted under the auspices of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences in Bangalore, S. Nijalingappa Institute of Dental Sciences and Research, Kalabugari. The admission procedure adopted by S. Nijalingappa Institute aims to select the most deserving candidates to be admitted into the dental programs. There are mainly national-level entrance examinations by which admissions are conducted in the institute. These standard examinations ensure that an unbiased and competitive method of selection is maintained. The students aspiring for the BDS course must qualify for the NEET Examination along with satisfying the minimum eligibility criteria put forth by the institute itself.

The MDS programs specializing in Periodontology, Prosthodontics, Conservative and Endodontics, Orthodontics, and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery shall be offered by the institute to its eligible candidates having qualified NEET MDS. Generally, the admission cycle falls in line with the dates of NEET/NEET-MDS. Though the dates are subject to change every year, applicants should expect updates concerning the NEET counseling dates. For instance, NEET has decided to hold the special stray vacancy round 3 for choice-filling and locking between December 22 and December 23 of 2024. Eligibility for admission in the BDS is generally passing in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology at 10 +2 level. For MDS courses, one must have a BDS degree. Specializations, however, may have specific eligibility requirements that should be confirmed from the institute's official communication.
