36 Months- Ph.D. Course, Full Time shall be for a minimum duration of three years including course work and a maximum of six years. Part- Time shall be for a minimum duration of Four years including course work and a
maximum of seven years. - Under special circumstances, provision for extension beyond the above limits, subject to a maximum of one year, shall be granted on the recommendation of the High-Power Committee and approved by the Vice Chancellor.
- The women candidates and Persons with Disability (more than 40% disability) may be allowed a relaxation of two years for Ph.D. in the maximum duration, including Maternity Leave/Child Care Leave once in the entire duration of Ph.D. course.
Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility requirement for candidates to get admitted to the Ph.D. Course shall include the following:

- Masters degree in Computer Science from a recognized University with Minimum 55% aggregate marks.
- During course-work, classes will be conducted on all the working days of S-VYASA Deemed to be
university, at Bangalore. Minimum attendance of 90% is to be followed in every subject.
