Saint Sahara Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital, Bathinda Admission Process

The college is famous for the quality of education bestowed upon men and women in Ayurvedic medicine. The college is affiliated with the Central Council for Indian Medicine (CCIM), and various rigorous admission processes are undertaken to produce deserving candidates for admission to the BAMS program offered in the institution.

5. Seat Allotment: A seat will be assigned to a candidate according to his NEET ranking, choice of preference, and availability of seats in the counseling rounds.

6. Fee Payment: For candidates who have been allocated seats, fees should be paid within the stipulated time to confirm their admission.

7. Reporting to the College: After seat allotment and payment of fees, a candidate is expected to report to Saint Sahara Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital for admission formalities like document verification and medical check-up.

8. Orientation and Beginning of Classes: The admitted students will then undergo the orientation program and subsequently begin their classes, as per the academic calendar.

Degree Wise Admission Process

BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery):
The BAMS Course under the aegis of Saint Sahara Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital is a full-time course having a duration of 6 years, including an obligatory compulsory internship for one year. The entire course would cover subjects and practical orientations of Ayurvedic medicine vis-a-vis practices. In general, admission into BAMS is given based on the score obtained by a candidate in the NEET Examination.

The criteria for admissions into the BAMS program are that candidates must have completed the 10+2 level of education with the relevant science subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology from a recognized board. The minimum percentage of marks is subject to change as per the directives of authority. Candidates must qualify or secure eligible percentile in the NEET qualifying examination as per the requirement for the academic year.

Candidates for the BAMS course would be selected on the basis of their performance in the NEET examination and then guided for counseling. The college shall participate in the central counseling conducted by the respective authority, whereby candidates are allotted seats according to their merit rank in NEET, preferences, and availability of seats.
