Sarvajanik College of Engineering and Technology Surat is a privately recognised college that was established in 1995 and approved by AICTE, New Delhi. SCET Surat offers various programmes at the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels in different streams. SCET Surat UG, PG and doctoral courses include B.E/B.Tech, M.E/M.Tech, MCA and Ph.D.

SCET Surat scholarship is classified into three categories that include Government Scholarships, Assistance from Community and Bank Loans, and scholarships offered by private firms. Government scholarships include the Pragati scheme for girls, the Honorable Chief Minister Scholarship Scheme, Gujarat, Central Sector Scholarship Scheme, and scholarships for minorities. The Late Mrs Chandravatiben Yashvantlal Kaji Scholarship and the Share and Care Foundation- Loan Scholarship are community-assisted scholarships. Private firms also offer scholarships such as the ISA PMCD scholarship and CMS Limited for economically challenged (SC/ST) students.
The college provides assistance for the scholarship of SC/ST/OBC and minority students from the Social Justice and Empowerment Department of the Government of Gujarat and the Government of India.

Central Sector Scholarship Scheme | Candidates who pursue a 3 years undergraduate degree receive a yearly scholarship of Rs. 12,000.
