Classrooms are okay not too good. Labs are okay and libraries are just okay irrespective of the hefty money we pay. Campus hostel is the worst and too expensive, food is the worst, bathroom is shared by six on one floor, laundry guys charges for each cloth which means laundry is not included in the hefty hostel fee. Medical facilities are not good, they just ask to buy medicines from outside like why are you there then when we have to buy medicine from pharmacy only why do you even exist?

Teachers just exist like this is some side job, they are not serious about our future. Teachers have average knowledge and no guidance or support could be expected, this is a capitalist world. It makes student average not ready for anything. Course curriculum is relevant. But teachers hardly teach properly and after online classes have begun it is just for formality.

About placements, on paper, it is claimed that 94% of placements were given but I don't think it's true. The highest and the lowest packages were 15 Lacs per annum and 4 lacs per annum. IBM, Wipro, Infosys, TCS are the top companies that visited. Most students got internship under tech companies which is nice.

I choose it believing I would get to know a lot and learn technology from good teachers. It never happened here. Please be a little logical, serious and helpful about learning it would be a great help. Events are not so good. Campus is okay. Crowd is diverse but not bright Scholarship is equal to nothing at all Extra curriculum activities are basic. So, I just can't say that it's worth your money.

The annual fest which is held by the university is UURJA in which all the university from both the campus take part, Also there are small events like sports events and many more conducted by the university. Talking about clubs; there are many clubs for all the branches which conduct their won small events and encourage students to take part in them for their skill development as well as for fun.

First when I seen it I didn't believe it that a private college has such a nice library. UPES library consists of more than one lac books, which is quite thing for students. As a Computer Science student it feels great to work on the systems in the labs. The configuration on the system are just great. They provide Linux to work on. Unlike it's location UPES has provided a wonderful sports equipment and facilities. They also have many sports events going on every month to keep students active.

UPES has a very good reputation for its studies. Although some times they overdo but this is also for the sake of students and their reputation. There syllabus is updated every year to get better education to students. Since last past one year what I faced that UPES faculties are just ok they guide you, motivates you in every step although there are not many highly qualified among them but still some of them are quite good. This one is my own personal experience.

UPES placement is in fact, amazing. However, you have to work hard to get placed in one of the MNCs that come in the college every year. I have seen a lot of my batchmates bad mounting the university when it comes to being placed, even though they didn't prepare for it.

Yes indeed it is value of you money. The money is bit is high if we compare with other colleges but not that much after all it requires money to run a university and provide this quality in a private college. It have teachers from IITs so I think it's worth it to invest your money for doing graduation here.

Most universities only care about finishing off the syllabus before the semester ends. I understand how important that is, but it leaves no space for any industry based knowledge. However, in UPES, there are plenty of guest lectures, industrial visits, projects, debates, and much more. This helps the student experience the industry of their course of choice firsthand.

The university is located amidst the picturesque Himalayas in Dehradun. The location is great as the university is secluded and spacious. In winters, the place becomes even more beautiful and becomes a perfect setting to study with your warm tea. The university is secluded from the city making it free from the hustle-bustle and commotion.

The faculty at UPES is the most helpful bunch of educators I have ever come across. The professors understand that most of us are away from our homes and tend to get homesick often. There have been times that many teachers have comforted and taken care of students when they are going through a rough patch. Also, the teachers are willing to help you at any time when you need them for anything curriculum related. The teachers go out to their way to clear out any doubts even after the class.

Many people on this thread might not know that UPES is the only and the first university in the nation to be awarded QS 5 stars for employability. UPES has a fantastic placement cell with companies like HCL, IBM, TCS and many more that hire multiple students every year. The students also get offered an excellent salary package and a reputable position in the company.

Rarely any other universities in India take the effort of providing its students with industrial exposure. However, UPES gives students industrial exposure in the form of industrial visits, guest lectures, projects, workshops and much more. So, I will say that it's worth your money. I would say that they are giving the amount of exposure for the money they are taking from us.

Thanks to UPES, I kickstarted my career with a great organization through the university placement process. Also, I recently read that UPES has partnered with some global academic institutes to provide students who were unable to get placed, a chance to study abroad. The best part is that UPES will bear the cost of education. Also, the fests, events, tournaments they organize on a large scale and involve students to organize them.

Labs are a big mess here as the college is always in a hurry to plan one construction after another. They should have structured the building in a good way. Equipment don't work in labs but I must say that cleaning is good. Halls, Auditoriums, Classes, Cafes are always clean. So, no compromise with the hygiene.

The biggest problem is that the college administration seems careless and indifferent towards any of these problems and if things will continue in a similar manner, I don't see the college surviving in the long run. Regarding attendance they are always on flip flop between manual and card punching system of UPES. Some faculty debars students based on online attendance some based on manual attendance. In nut and shell if you are attending classes then also you can be debarred.

After another year at the college, the only thing that I can say is that this college is going down to the grave. The number students in most branches has increased, The college management does not seem capable enough to deal with this increasing number of students. The condition has worsened to such a level that the college is not able to provide decent internships to the students of almost all the branches, let alone the placements. You are expected to be grateful to get an placement here.

This is too expensive and at this amount no matter how much you give the value but you just can't give a value worth this money. So, this is really necessary for UPES to lower the amount because it will not work in long run. No one these days want to spend so much money in graduation.

In many cases after the semester is ended there is always a course or lab which is not conducted throughout the semester and you still manage it proudly. Great managements. I don't claim all but 80% faculties of UPES are worthless. Neither they know how to teach nor how to handle students. They will force you to spend full 2 hours in a lab which is not fit for spending 15 minutes also. They start any course without any on ground preparation just because we fool students take admission in that.

Poor, You will never know where the college began and where it ended. Most of the lab equipment are faulty especially the ones in the electronics and the physics department. However, workshops, fluid dynamics lab and chassis lab are not that bad. But, NO auditorium, For anyone who disagrees, Vivekanand Audi is no better than a classroom.

Fairly good, there is always a teacher that is there to listen to your problems. I have faced teachers who motivate you to the fullest and help you in your endeavors but there will be some who will ask you to mug up the things or else you will fail. The college never stops you from pursuing your ideas but it never helps you. Various guest lecture and some medium level workshops are OK. It is the projects that help you grow.

If you are good enough you will definitely get placed. If not, Infosys, TCS and HCL are waiting. If you still don't get placed, you know that you have wasted 4 years of your life that are not going to come back with a whole lot of money. Up until now, 75% students in the top branches get placements in core companies including RND sector. But placements will be tougher in the coming years as there is a sharp increase in the number of students in every branch with every passing year.

Yeah it is very true that college is too damn expensive and it is not just the tuition fee, there will be many fees that you won't see coming your way. Courses specializations are just names to the traditional branches. A little more focus is given to the specialization, but it is more or less the same.

Sorry UPES, but this is the one thing that you are really bad at. UURJA and Ignite are nowhere near any technical event that you hope for. The reason is that college never motivate the students to actively participate. Instead, if you have curt teacher, you might be threatened to get debarred. Yes, 75% attendance is must. There is also a cricket tournament which is actually good.

College is designed in a very simple and attractive way. They provide all the facilities there and make you wonder how a campus can be so beautiful. Security guard are always there on the gate which provides security and safety. Hostel students aren't allowed to exit the hostel after evening. Libraries are also very wonderful and provides a very good environment to study. Classrooms and washrooms are also very clean and hygienic.

Academics are really good and teachers are very supportive. They provide us a lot of study material which is very useful to score good in the exams. Curriculum is also designed in a very productive manner as they have placed the right kind of subject at right place. You can check out the course curriculum on their website.

Placements are nice and they promises 100% placement record. Many companies visit our college so you don't need to apply for off campus placements as you will get your dream company inside the campus. They are doing the job to invite as many companies as possible very well. Highest package last to last year was 45 lakhs which is really nice.

Yes they are giving us good value at this cost so you can try this college. They have invest lot of money in making the campus and it's worth it in doing your graduation or even post graduation from here.

We have a lot of events and fests which will give you a warming experience and make your campus life beautiful. All the students, teachers and support staff are good and take care of students. The location where campus is is very good and beautiful.

Yes the infrastructure is outstanding. This is just crazy to have a campus from where you can see mountains, hills, and what could be the greater place can be. It is a great experience to live there. All the facilities are provided like WIFI, smart boards, and everything one can think of. Libraries are also big and have all the facilities. We have Biometric book issue facility which lets you issue any book easily.

I found all the teachers and staff members very supportive and they do understand this thing that students are investing lot of money so they try their best to provide that quality. Management is also good they listen your problems and help you. Course curriculum is updated and it includes all the recent developments in the field and it makes us job-ready.

Placements is the thing which mostly rely upon students performance so if you study well you will get the good placement also company will seek you if you are topper of your batch. So, try to be in top 10 and maintain your CGPA, don't let your CGPA go down than 8 otherwise many company will deprive you for placements.

Indeed, the value is great like they take a nice amount but they are also providing you that value like good campus infrastructure, great faculties, fests and events they organize. So, I would suggest you to take admission here if you don't have any money problem.

Campus life is just exceptional. It's marvelous and it feels very special to be a part of that. I participated in many events which makes me develop my skills. So, you should too without participating in those events it's just waste for you. If you are giving them money take on every opportunity to make it worth.

YES, College Infrastructure is super duper awesome. The place also is very unique for a college to be. It feels like you are living on mountains. Due to pandemic we aren't able to go to campus and I miss it. And yes it has all the facilities and all the things are well maintained. Security is also high and food is hygienic.

Academics is very poor. I guess that they have put all their money in making the campus but they didn't focused on the faculty here. Some teachers don't have the experience or any kind of training they just teach here and I don't know what they teach. It's ridiculous.

Placements are average and yes companies visit here so you will get the placement but don't forget to make your skills your power. You should have good control over your skills because skills what industry want. Start learning and exploring new things from the start only.

A rich won't feel that it's too high but it will cause a lot of pain for a middle class. They just can't make their child come here. The money they are taking is very high and I don't think they are providing that value to us. It would be great if they reduce the amount.

Campus life is nice and you will not forget this experience. Having fun with friends is the most enjoyable thing here. Staying in hostel feels worth. You can enjoy the mega fest UURJA which happens every year. But it also have some disadvantages like they don't have the right kind of arrangements.

College Infrastructure is just okay. I won't say that it is too nice but it's not too bad. All the facilities they provide but it should be more big because there are lot of students enrolled in the college but the size is kind of small. It makes chaotic when all students arrived at the same time.

It's poor. We have to study all by ourselves and passing examination is also easy. You won't require to listen the lectures carefully. You will pass them with just learning for some days before exam. Teachers are also not at that level. They have lack of knowledge. Books at library are good.

Placements you can expect from the college if you study hard and don't depend yourself on teachers. You should have learning mindset to get placement. There are lots of students so in this abundance it will became though sometimes to crack placement.

They should have decrease the amount as not everyone can afford the amount they are asking for B-Tech and other courses. I didn't find any college who is taking more money than them. So, we can say it is the most expensive college in India which is not a good thing.

They organize lot of events of monthly basis and it's interesting to be part of them but the place where they organize them looks like not more than a room, it don't give that feel and vibe. We have a mega fest named UURJA which is the most wonderful fest of the year.

College Infrastructure is very amazing. It has all the facilities like playing grounds, labs, spacious classrooms, beautiful view. The hostel is one thing I don't like about rest things are good and well maintained. Hostel food is tasteless.

Teachers are good and their nature is also very professional. They won't fail a student easily. They extend deadlines and make sure that everyone do that work and if someone not able to they help. But some teachers are really bad and they are like have fun to see a student struggling. Student and teacher ratio is also good.

Placements is the thing which we want should be extra ordinary but it's not like that. It will stand something around average though university claims 100% placement but not all the students get placed. So, make sure you do prepare yourself well for the placements otherwise you can also be one among them.

Yeah we can say that the money is worth it if we look on campus and campus life. It's so much living here and it is situated far from the city so they work hard to make us everything available. Events and fests are also organized on a large level and anyone can attend any fest.

Campus life is as good as campus is. It's filled with lot of enjoyment and exposure. They make us industry visits which is really nice thing. Participate in all the events and make your college life wonderful. Do join student chapters also.
