Shri Dhanwantry Ayurvedic College and Hospital, Chandigarh Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The College library is functioning well in a 2,000 sq. ft. space. The total no. of books at present in the library is more than ten thousand. Out of those 7,600 books, 2,000 are of Ayurveda, and 2,500 are of modern science & others streams etc.

The college has a department-based laboratory facility for the students.

The girls’ hostel building is built on more than one acre of land. The college has two blocks of hostels, i.e., Block A and Block B, in which 60-70 girls students reside. Every facility like chairs, tables, benches, almirahs has been provided to every student.

Other facilities like indoor games like chess, carom board, table tennis have been provided in the girl's hostel in girl's common rooms. There is a hostel Superintendent to supervise the girl’s students from time to time. The facility has been provided for Lohri & Holi celebration for girls hostel students only. A facility for badminton games has been provided in front of the hostel area.

The hospital has a professionally managed cafeteria for the convenience of the patient's relatives and other visitors to the hospital for meeting their requirements of snacks/ drinks and meals. The college cafeteria is very neat & clean, spanning an area of 3000 sq. ft. Separate arrangements have been made for teachers, non-teaching staff, and paramedical staff in the canteen, which includes 10 tables and 40 chairs.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.

The college has a health center with a first aid facility for the students.

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.

The college has good networking for the alumni association.
