Shri Prakashchand Jain Homoeopathic Medical College, Hospital and Research, Jalgaon was well known in the establishment of Ayurvedic medicine education in India. With an intention to enroll the best qualified students for this field, the college adopts a strict admission procedure. The admissions for Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery will be mainly through the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG).
NEET UG is conducted all over India for yearly admissions in medical courses like BAMS and this examination is held around the first or second week of May, and is followed by regard announcements in June. An applicant wishing to join Shri Prakashchand Jain Homoeopathic Medical College must pass the NEET UG within the required cut-off.
Post the NEET Result Declaration, the College participates in centralized counseling that is organized by state authorities. On the basis of preference and available seats, candidates are allotted seats based on their NEET score. 8. Reporting to College: Candidate must report in person to Shri Prakashchand Jain Homoeopathic Medical College within the stipulated time with original copies of documentation and requisite fees.
9. Medical Examination: The College will conduct a medical fitness test as a part of its admission.
Degree-wise Admission Process
BAMS: Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) is the flagship degree course offered by Shri Prakashchand Jain Homoeopathic Medical College, Hospital and Research, Jalgaon. The admission to this program is based solely on the score achieved by the candidate in the NEET UG examination. A total of 100 seats are sanctioned for BAMS by the college. Admission is based on passing NEET UG followed by merit-based counseling. BAMS would be a full-fledged six-year course, including one year of mandatory internship, imparts deep knowledge and practical skills for the practice of Ayurvedic medicine.
