Though college is wonderful, I would not love to go to this gurukul for the rest of my life but surely love to experience hostel life once again hostel life is something that is worth living off staying in college because we meet different people drastically from a different background.Few faculty members are inspiring but other are just making their bread exposure is minimal and a lot of unique restrictions that are quite laughable were imposed upon us..and placement means TCS only and nothing else.

Average infrastructure with below than normal placement opportunities. Zero industry exposure, with more than required disciplinary actions and fine collections. The hostel is bit good but the food is like it's not changed for ages. The same boring things every day. The only good thing being the classroom study and faculties. No practical knowledge is being given to any student, Labs are equipped but no proper lab assistant is present who could provide practical knowledge. Overall a bad experience and one of my biggest mistakes.

My experience at college was amazing. and it was especially up to the time I lived in the hostel because that is the only place where you have an encounter with several kinds of mad people, yes I am talking about my friends and seniors that just taught me how to live life, that have the answers to all my questions. They were with me in all my good times and bad ones too. We all have some crazy things to do all the times like making fun of each other, late night talks, that maggi time, ragging juniors, knocking at warden's room and then just ran away and much more. The sports tournament was just awesome. Tech fest, cultural nights & that 'dj waale babu mera gaana baja de' waala dance...ahh can't forget. Now come to the very imp topic 'the placement'- yeah it is just average. only for cs branch guys, not for us. The infrastructure was just amazing, faculties were awesome, well-maintained labs, transport facilities are nice. But outing 'nopes'- we were not allowed to visit outside the college, not allowed to use mobile phones, mess food was also just to remove our hunger(very bad). So that's all & if I have to summarise my words for college I would say that yes its a good place to learn and explore yourself. so be a part of it and be a srmsians.
