The NEET cutoff in given below:
Category | Round 1 | Round 2 |
---|---|---|
General | 10688 | 13794 |
OBC | 10647 | 13780 |
SC | 63706 | 79721 |
ST | 60614 | 78913 |
PWD | 10688 | 13794 |
EWS | 10311 | 13814 |
Hi,
Cut-off scores in general category is 138 this year, compared to 147 in 2020. In ST, SC and OBC categories, the cut-off is 108, as against last year's 113.The cut offs for general/EWS PwD has been fixed at 122 against 129 in 2020.
Getting admission in NITs require general rank below 30000. It would be safe if you get that. And you may get NITs till 40000 somehow and somewhere. So coming for EWS quota there will be 10% increment in seats.
General-EWS rank is the rank for candidates willing to avail EWS quota. It will help in easing of closing ranks for those students. For example if you were getting any branch in 25k general rank last year, you can get it for 29k-30k rank under EWS quota this year.
Hope this helps
Wish you luck
Hello,
The qualifying marks for neet are 138-720 for general category. But for getting a good college you must score minimum above 500 in neet. The cutoffs of colleges are increasing each year and to secure a good government college the AIQ cutoff is over 600.State quota is less nearly 500 and more.
Hope it helps. Best of luck!!
Hey Aspirant,.
First of all, I would like to draw your attention towards the fact that you have not given adequate information we need in order to help you.
What I would suggest is you should mention the name of the exam . The marks you scored and the rank you secured in that exam. And then ask us your query .
I hope this helps!!
Hello Aspirant. You mentioned you belong to GEN-EWS category and your expected marks is 330 out of 720. Based on your marks, your overall percentile may lie somewhere around 79.43 - 80.03 while your AIR may lie within the range of 316006 - 386156 considering the difficulty of the paper to be moderate.
Based on your expected marks, it is less likely for you to get chance at any Public/Government medical institutes and top-rated private institutes via All India Counselling. However, if you are lucky enough, there is slight possibility for you to get admission to MBBS at few private medical institutes although the amount of fees is much higher than other top-rated private colleges, namely:
Your chances to grab a seat for BDS at top-rated Government or Private medical institutes are narrow . However, you may get chance at the following Private BDS institutes:
and few others...
All I can say is, if your expected marks becomes your actual mark, your performance is not up to the par to get admission to any top-rated Government or Private Medical Colleges.
