    Sri Siddhartha Medical College, Tumkur offers admission to undergraduate and postgraduate courses to the students. Admission to MBBS is offered on the basis of NEET UG exam conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) and further, they have to participate in the AIQ NEET counselling conducted by the Directorate General of Health Sciences (DGHS) on behalf of Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). SSMC offers admission to MD/MS/PG Diploma courses on the basis of NEET PG exam conducted by National Board of Examinations (NBE) and further the aspirants have to participate in the counselling process conducted by Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on behalf of Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). Sri Siddhartha Medical College Admission process of all the courses are given below in details:

    MBBS

    • Candidates have to apply and appear for NEET UG exam conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA).

    • Candidates with required NEET percentile will have to register for AIQ NEET counselling.

    • Further candidates have to participate in the counselling process conducted by The Directorate General of Health Sciences (DGHS) on behalf of Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).

    • Final admission will be based on the marks secured, participation in the counselling process, seat allotment, document verification and fee payment.

    MD/MS/PG Diploma

    • Candidates have to apply and appear for NEET PG exam conducted by National Board of Examinations (NBE).

    • Candidates have to secure the minimum qualifying percentile and register for the counselling process.

    • Further, candidates have to participate in the counselling process conducted by Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on behalf of Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).

    Academics Good. College life boring.

    Teachers are good and classes are taken regularly. Practical teaching in pre clinical subjects is good and in clinical subjects patient load is okay. The curriculum for new batches has been updated as per CBME.

    Decent college for ug

    Lectures are taken daily and on time, there is a mentorship programme to guide you through 1st year. Very strict about attendance. Used to have weekly tests in 1st year. Clinical exposure is also good enough for ug.

    My ambition is to become a famous doctor....I am doing 1st yr MBBS .....Quality of teaching is good but it depends on the students....Students working hard by making use of their mentor's and other faculty members will surely score well.
