SMPGC Jaipur Admission 2025: Dates, Registration, Fees, Eligibility

The college and is one of the most liberal colleges for co-education in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The college offers an array of undergraduate and postgraduate programs in the areas of arts, commerce, science, management, computer applications, etc. SMPGC's admission process is aimed at making the best selection of candidates for its myriad academic programs. Candidates for admission to different programs would submit applications to the college. The eligibility criterion and admission requirements may vary with respect to the course chosen. Hence, it is advisable for the aspirants to check the specific requirements for admission into the programs of their choice before applying.

Admission Process

Admission procedures at Stani Memorial PG College are so simple that eligible candidates can approach it with ease. A stepwise description of the application procedure is as follows:

1. Program selection: Candidates to begin with should find their desired program amongst the wide variety of courses provided by SMPGC.

2. Application Form: Obtain and fill out the application form for the chosen program. The form may be available either at the college website or college admission office.

3. Document Preparation: All essential documents should be gathered, which usually include:

• Marksheets of qualifying examinations (10th, 12th, or bachelor's degree as applicable)
• Transfer certificate from the previous institution
• Character certificate
• Recent passport-size photographs
• Any other documents specified by the college for the chosen program

4. Form Submission: Submit the completed application form along with all required documents either at the college admission office or by the online portal if available.

5. Application Fee: The required application fee should be paid as stated by the college.

6. Entrance Exam/Interview: For some programs, especially at the postgraduate level, the college may conduct entrance exams or interviews, for which candidates should do preparation.

7. Merit List: The merit list will be prepared by the college on the basis of candidates' academic performance and/or entrance exam results.

8. Document Verification: A few shortlisted candidates will be invited for document verification. At this stage, original documents must be shown.

9. Fee Payment: Candidates will be required to pay the necessary fee to secure their admission after successful verification.

10. Orientation: An intimation regarding the orientation program and commencement of classes will be provided to the admitted candidate.

Degree-wise Admission Process

B.Com: The college offers B.Com with an approved intake of 360 students. Candidates are admitted on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination-10+2 or equivalent with Commerce or related subjects.

BA: The college offers BA courses for a maximum intake of 180 students. Those candidates who have passed their 10+2 qualifying exams in Arts or related streams are eligible to apply for admission.

BBA: The Bachelor of Business Administration program has an intake approved for 120 students. Evaluation of the admissions selection is based on the candidate's academic performance in the 10+2 examination, preferably with Commerce/related subjects.

BCA: For the Bachelor of Computer Applications course, 60 students are admitted. Preferably, the candidate should have studied Mathematics or Computer Science at the 10+2 level.

B.Sc. Biotechnology: A special course for 30 students, admission rests on the performance of the candidate in 10+2 with Biology and Chemistry as core subjects.

M.Sc. Biotechnology: The postgraduate course in Biotechnology for B.Sc. graduates will admit 20 students. Candidates holding a bachelor's degree in Biotechnology or its related life sciences are eligible to apply.

MJMC: The Master of Journalism and Mass Communication has an intake of 20 students. Graduates from any discipline may apply for this course.

BVA: The Bachelor of Visual Arts program takes in 20 students. Candidates with an aptitude for arts and a relevant academic background are considered for this admission.

Bachelor of Music: A specialized course with an intake of 12 students, candidates with a musical background and passion for the subject may apply.

The college has also to offer several other postgraduate programs, such as M.Com; M.Sc. in various subjects (Zoology, Psychology, Physics, Mathematics, Geography, Chemistry, Botany); and MA in several disciplines (History, Political Science, Public Administration, Drawing and Painting, Economics, Psychology, Hindi, and English). Above programs consider admission according to the performance of the candidate in his/her respective bachelor's degree, with possible other specifications by the college.
