Admission Process

Through Counseling Quota:

  • Students will be allotted by West Bengal State Council of Technical & Vocational Education and Skill Development according to counseling on the basis Rank of the entrance examination for Polytechnics (JEXPO)

Through Management Quota:

  • a) Seats will be allotted to the candidates who have Technique Admission Test (TAT) – 2019 Rank with valid JEXPO’2019 Rank through Counseling according to TAT merit list.
  • b) Vacant seats (if any, after counseling of TAT rank holders) will be filled by Spot-counseling.

Eligibility Criteria

i) Through Counseling Quota (75% of Approved Intake)

Eligibility: Passed / Appeared* 10th standard with at least 35% marks in aggregate without the marks of the additional subject (without rounding up**). Mathematics, Physical Science (Science) and English are mandatory subjects in the qualifying examination and a candidate must acquire at least pass marks in all the three subjects as per his/her secondary board.

ii) Through Management Quota (Direct admission) (25% of Approved Intake)(*as per Guidelines are given in last year's admission notification)

Eligibility: Passed / Appeared* 10th standard with at least 35% marks in aggregate without the marks of the additional subject (without rounding up**). Mathematics, Physical Science (Science) and English are mandatory subjects in the qualifying examination and a candidate must acquire at least pass marks in all the three subjects as per his/her secondary board.
