The Thapar School of Liberal Arts and Sciences (TSLAS), situated in Patiala and a constituent Institute of the Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, provides unique interdisciplinary educational programmes that aim at nurturing critical thinking and creativity. B.Sc Liberal Arts and Sciences (Hons) course offers a beautiful blend of science with liberal arts education. An approved intake of 60 students for this course could also follow the same criteria based on 10+2 scores purported to be good in science subjects for admission.
BA Liberal Arts and Sciences (Hons) programme, too, has an approved intake of 60 students. The admission process may consider the 10+2 scores from any stream while looking at other criteria to assess the candidate's inclination toward liberal arts.
